Interpretasi Nilai Sosial Budaya Dan Hukum Islam Dalam Rumah Khas Adat Penjalin Masyarakat Islam Majalengka

Indonesian, as one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world, has a variety of cultures, one of which is the architectural style of houses which requires socio-cultural values and Islamic law. This article aims to examine socio-cultural values and Islamic law in the architectural style of the traditional Majalengka penjalin house. This research uses a library study approach by using library sources as primary sources and analyzed using prescriptive analytical methods. The results of the research show that the traditional penjalin house in the Majalengka Islamic Community is full of socio-cultural values and Islamic legal values, including the values of socio-cultural life depicted in the form of stairs, Islamic legal values depicted with 17 pillars indicating the number of prayer cycles, 3 windows. which opens out as a depiction of the values of Faith, Islam, and Ihsan as well as the value of constitutional relations which are depicted in three carved patterns located in one of the rooms meaning that the occupants of the house are descendants of three kingdoms (Cirebon, Pajajaran, and Mataram).
