Judges as actors of judicial power in the judiciary have an important role in realising the rule of law. Therefore, their position and welfare must be guaranteed in realising justice as the spearhead of the ideals of the rule of law. The focus of this study is the adjustment of judges' welfare in Indonesia. This study is conducted with a normative juridical research approach, the legal material used is library law material, with a descriptive analysis method. The results of the study show that the adjustment of judges' welfare is a constitutional mandate as mandated in the provisions of Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution which states that Indonesia is a state of law, this is because judges are the pillars of realising the rule of law through their decisions.
